      Maintaining Item Properties

      Add your own details

      The Properties Panel in FusionGraph allows you to add details to your Knowledge Items.

      For any items created within FusionGraph it’s possible to edit their properties to capture more information and provide links, dates, etc.

      The width of the properties popup can be expanded and contracted with the button to enable items with long names or descriptions to be more clearly displayed and maintained.

      It’s also possible to use button to expand the details further to see audit information and to set an icon and colour if required:

      Classifications

      Classifications can be assigned to any item on the canvas via right click:

      Or by opening the item details and maintaining them on the Classifications tab :

      Connections & Relationships

      Connections can be created by opening the item details and maintaining them on the Connections tab and entering the relevant item(s) in the appropriate box:

      When displaying the edge between an item and a classification value on the canvas,  the connection labels (relationship) will display the name of the Classification.

      Deleting Items

      It is possible to delete items from the Matrix, Card and Timeline views. This is performed by opening an item's properties (double-clicking) and clicking the red DELETE button. This will delete the item from the database and therefore removed from any Canvas, Card or Timeline views, whereas the Matrix will need to be refresh to reflect the change.

      The canvas has advanced multiple edit capabilities to allow for the mass editing of properties and connections. Select the relevant items from the canvas then navigate to the advance menu and Edit Properties or Mass Connect Items . All  selected items will be updated with the new value(s).
